Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana)

Stevia or green sugar is a small perennial plant that usually does not exceed 80 cm in height. The Stevia leaf is the sweetest part of the plant and where its properties reside. The plant requires a slightly acidic pH (6-6.5) and is demanding in terms of water during warm periods. Stevia seeds do not reach very high germination values.
