Pennyroyal Mint

Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium)

Used fresh or dried in cooking and for sedative and digestive infusions. Mint appreciates permeable soils and semi-shaded exposures. Mint leaves must be dried as soon as possible, under natural heat. The essence resulting from the distillation is used in medicine for its menthol, an excellent antiseptic.
